About This Tour
This immersive 8-day High Atlas expedition is one of Morocco’s most complete trekking journeys, combining dramatic high passes, remote valleys, traditional Berber villages, glacial lakes, and the unforgettable summit of Mount Toubkal (4,167 m). Designed for adventurous hikers who want deep mountain exploration and gradual acclimatization, the route weaves through little-visited terrain before joining the classic Toubkal ascent.
You’ll cross soaring passes such as Tizi Likemt and Tizi n’Ouanoums, camp beside the turquoise waters of Lac d’Ifni, and experience warm hospitality in remote mountain communities. With full support from licensed mountain guides, muleteers, and cooks, each day balances physical challenge with cultural discovery, culminating in a sunrise climb to North Africa’s highest peak.
