Tour Plan
Depart Marrakech and drive into the western High Atlas to the village of Imi Oughlad (1,450 m). Meet your guide and muleteer team before beginning the hike along mule paths climbing steadily toward the scenic Tizi n’Tachete Pass (2,000 m).
Stop to admire sweeping mountain views before enjoying a picnic lunch near Imi n’Ifri. Continue downhill to the peaceful village of Tiziane (1,750 m), where you’ll settle into a family-run lodge for dinner and overnight.
Walking time: ~5 hours
Overnight: Village gîte
After breakfast, follow trails through the beautiful Assif n’Aït Oussaden Valley, crossing terraced farmland and scattered hamlets. Climb gradually to the Tizi n’Taghrhourte Pass (1,995 m), pausing to take in wide views of the surrounding peaks.
Lunch beside the clear waters of Assaka Spring before continuing across rolling mountain terrain to reach the welcoming village of D’knt (1,870 m). Enjoy dinner and overnight in a traditional mountain lodge.

Overnight: Village gîte
Begin with a gentle hike through orchards and irrigated fields before climbing toward the Tizi n’Tagdalte Pass. After crossing the ridge, stop for a picnic lunch near a natural spring and soak in the dramatic scenery.
Descend into the Azzaden Valley, reaching the twin villages of Tizi Oussem and Tamsoult, set amid towering rock walls and alpine meadows. Spend the night in a village gîte or camp under the stars.

Overnight: Camp or gîte
After breakfast, hike toward the Azib Tamsoult waterfalls before tackling the ascent to the Tizi n’Mzik Pass (2,500 m), one of the finest viewpoints in the western High Atlas.
Descend into Imlil village for lunch before meeting your driver for the return journey to Marrakech, bringing your trek to a memorable close.

End of trek – return to Marrakech.
