Settle into a comfortable local lodge for dinner and overnight, enjoying traditional cuisine and evening conversations by the fire.

Today is the most adventurous day of the trek. Walk down into the Imnane Valley, passing through Ikkiss village and following river paths bordered by terraced farmland.

Begin the ascent to Tizi n’Aguersioual Pass for panoramic views across both the Imnane and Imlil Valleys. Descend toward Aguersioual village and continue to Matate for lunch with locals or at a scenic viewpoint.

In the afternoon, climb again to the Tizi Oudid Pass before descending into the village of Aït Aïssa, tucked into the beautiful Azzaden Valley. Relax in a mountain lodge and enjoy a hearty dinner after a rewarding hiking day.

Walking time: 6–7 hours
Overnight: Lodge in Aït Aïssa

After breakfast, leave Aït Aïssa and hike through the village of Tizi Oussem before ascending toward Tizi Mzik Pass via Mzik village. This route offers some of the finest viewpoints of the surrounding peaks and valleys.

Descend back into Imlil for a well-earned lunch in a local restaurant before transferring by vehicle to Marrakech in the afternoon.
